From the moment I decided to become a lawyer, I was told I would never meet the requirements. That’s right. They said I’d never make it. They said my criminal record would get in the way. They said women who’d come from where I came from–didn’t stand a chance. That people like me didn’t become lawyers – - – we paid lawyers!
Had my life not been intervened upon by a power greater than myself, I would have been one of those casualties who didn’t make it. But those naysayers were wrong! For the past 21 years I’ve been a successful business attorney. And through the grace of God and a willingness to do the necessary work, my LIFE is an example that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
