It was January 14, 1991, two days before my 38th birthday. There I stood before the Character Committee of the New York State Board of Law Examiners, facing the last obstacle in the way of my future–MY PAST!
From the moment I decided to become a lawyer, I was told I would never meet the requirements. That’s right. They said I’d never make it. They said my criminal record would get in the way. They said women who’d come from where I came from–didn’t stand a chance. That people like me didn’t become lawyers – - – we paid lawyers!
Had my life not been intervened upon by a power greater than myself, I would have been one of those casualties who didn’t make it. But those naysayers were wrong! For the past 21 years I’ve been a successful business attorney. And through the grace of God and a willingness to do the necessary work, my LIFE is an example that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

Self-Esteem Comes from DOING Esteemable Acts
This provocative and instructive program will introduce you to a new and fresh approach to building self-esteem.
Have you ever met someone who appears self-assured and certain of who they are and you thought to yourself, this person has self-esteem? Maybe but the truth of the mater is, we often mistake confidence for self-esteem. In reality they are two different animals born of the same mom. Real self-esteem does not come from how we think about ourselves or what we say about ourselves, it comes from how we ACT, how we behave. In this program Francine explores a number of Esteemable Actions designed to help you change the way you see yourself.
You Can’t Change What You Can’t See
It’s hard to change something unless you know it needs changing. Depending on who you are or where you are in your life, success can be defined in any number of ways. Yet, regardless of how it’s defined, one ingredient to creating a successful life is a willingness to see the truth of a situation, and then a willingness to change what needs to be changed. This also includes having the courage to see the truth in yourself.
Oftentimes what stands between us and success is US – - our attitudes, behaviors, beliefs, or out-dated ways of doing things. Having the courage to see past our little feelings to what needs to be done is a mark of true character and the first step toward living a successful life. Having the courage to see ourselves clearly is an essential tool for success, not only in our personal lives, but in business. Self-examination is life transforming.
In this program Francine teach some effective tools for seeing yourself clearly and for creating the life you want.
The Best Thing That Can Happen to You is a Bad Break!
- Are you afraid to try something new for fear you might fail, make a mistake, or be totally embarrassed?
- Have you ever allowed a challenging experience to stop you from moving forward?
- Have you ever permitted a life circumstance to stand between you and something you want?
- Is there something in your past that you regret and have been allowing to get in the way of living your dreams?
Well, if you answered “yes” to any of the above, welcome to the club–the VICTIM Club, that is. Been there; done that, and choose not to do it anymore. With a history like mine it is so easy to allow my past to stand between me and my dreams, and for years I did just that. No more.
Nowadays, everyone’s talking about The Secret and the Law of Attraction- – how you can have the life of your dreams if you just THINK it so. While that makes good coffee table conversation, in truth, research shows that those who reach their goals were able to do so because they took action- – and LOTS of it! It doesn’t matter if the dream is to write a book, lose weight, change careers, start a business, buy a house, stop drinking, learn a new skill, run a marathon, or meet the person of your dreams, to get where you want you must DO SOMETHING – - different.
Have you ever heard the statement, massive action brings massive results? Although it seems like an overused cliché there is reason for this. It works! Everyone that has overcome addictions or have achieved something extraordinary, took massive ACTION to get them where they wanted to go.
In this program Francine shows the audience how to create a personal development plan of action to get started on a new path – - and succeed.
Fear Ain’t Nothin’ But a 4-Letter Word
What is more cunning, baffling, powerful, and more deadly than a speeding bullet? Fear!
In any given year, F-E-A-R takes more lives than cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, cancer, and car accidents combined. It ruins families and is arguably the root cause of more depression and is the single biggest barrier to living a life of endless possibilities. F-E-A-R keeps us stuck, broke, dependent, and living beyond our means. It is the ultimate jailor because when F-E-A-R comes to visit it takes plenty of prisoners.
It is the one thing we all have in common, whether we are head of our own company, working for someone else, retired, single, married, divorced, or in search of ourselves. In this program Francine demonstrates strategies for helping the audience get past this deadly killer of hope and dreams.
Lions, Tigers & Friends: Navigating Social Media Legal Landmines
Social media is the hottest discovery since email. It’s fun, fast paced, interesting, and allows you to connect with family, friends, colleagues, and clients as never before. And if you are a small business entrepreneur—it levels the playing field—allowing you to develop a network and marketing plan at a fraction of the cost.
BUT with all the good it can accomplish, and the ease in which you can use it, there are LEGAL landmines to be aware of. In this program Francine outlines a number of legal issues to watch out for and strategies for side-stepping them.
